In the vast Himalayan regions, there are countless villages where children embark on long, arduous journeys just to obtain a basic education.
At Samoon Foundation, our mission is to bridge this educational divide and bring this essential right to children in remote communities. We understand the profound impact education has on young minds, and we believe in empowering these children to take their rightful place in the world.
Our flagship project, Samoon Adarsh Vidhyalaya, operates under the umbrella of our well-established and registered NGO, Samoon Foundation. Samoon has earned recognition for its unwavering commitment to social welfare and humanitarian activities. We have dedicated ourselves to providing the most basic necessities of life to those who have been deprived of them. With the establishment of Samoon Adarsh Vidhyalaya, our aim is to instil values and knowledge among the children of remote villages, guiding them to thrive in the modern world.
Our inaugural school, located in the picturesque village of Osla in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, is equipped with a systematic and high-quality curriculum that prepares our students for excellence in academics, social interactions, cultural pursuits, innovation, sports, and community involvement. We focus on fostering mutual learning, positive relationships, and skill development, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for a rapidly changing world. Our school creates an environment that moulds young minds, laying the crucial foundation for lifelong learning.
Presently, we offer education from Class 1 to Class 5 in Osla, and our aspirations go far beyond. We aim to extend our reach to other remote villages, ensuring that every child in these areas has the opportunity to receive a quality education.
Our commitment to providing free education in the rural Himalayan states is not just a mission; it is a heartfelt dedication to the children of these communities. We believe that education is the key to a brighter future, and we are steadfast in our pursuit of making this a reality for every child.
